GuitarHelper v0.3a
Okay well Im back now and its been a week and im really sorry. The reason is that i planned to make this version a standalone eboot. And through many , many, many, many, many, many , many , many trials i could not get that to work. through compiling, recompiling, hex editing, pbp unpacking, and it just wouldnt work i always got an error so im really sorry i couldnt bring you a standalone eboot. if someone can make me an eboot version of this i would put u in the credits or something. anyways the main reason im mad is this while i was trying to make it a standalone eboot frustration overcame my better judgement forcing me to throw my psp against the wall. luckily it was not with all my might. my psp disc drive is now severely damaged although everything else works i love socom so im going to get a new psp and change the motherboards so i still have a 1.5 (if the psp i get is 2.8 or something) anyways here is the changelog

--installation
Simply drop this folder into the Applications folder in your luaplayer.

--changelog

1. Added Pentatonic Minor scales with root notes on the E and A strings
2. orginally added an experimental text reader ( thank you fosk) but it was extremely hard and the way i got it working was just so complicating that i just removed it) expect it in v0.3b
3. orgainzed the pictures and sounds into sub folders for better organization and it looks nicer.

--controls
--are printed out on the screen but here they are if you are reading this first

--finger numbers
You may have noticed on the pentatonic scales some numbers and on the chord charts. Thats because those tell you what the fingerings are. They are as follows

2 = Middle Finger
3 = Whatever that finger is after the middle
4 = Pinky

1. Fix up the text reader
2. Add more pentatonic scales
3. Add a rock hall of fame (top guitarists)
4. Include metallica tabs tabbed by me (dont know if this is possible though because it may invade some copyright laws so ill look into this
5. Fret harmonics (is already done see it in 0.3b)
-------------------------------------------
As usual this program is very user dependent so if anyone has a suggestion for me to do then go right ahead and tell me.

GuitarHelper v0.1

Everyone at the dev forums probaly hates me by now because I keep throwing out crappy little games and apps but I actually think this one is pretty good and I plan big things for this but what I really enjoy is the scale I made. I was on a gig one day and thought it would be cool if I could tune my guitar with my psp so I made this little app. I also noticed a lot of guitar players I knew could read music but not guitar notes so I made the scale. The scale teaches you what every fret's note is so you are confined to just having to read tabs. This is just v0.1. In the next version I plan on adding the frets harmonics are on and some penatonic scales and stuff.

--installation
just drag this folder (GuitarHelper v0.1) into the applications folder in your lua player

But for now we have
--tuner
--guitar scales

This is designed to help the beginner guitarist and the next version will be focused on pros.

--Controls
--are printed out on the screen but here they are if you are reading this first
E = X
A = O
D = Triangle
G = Square
B = R trigger
Ehigh = L trigger

This is confirmed working on my lua player on windows but this is untested on the psp because my parents took my psp for being out late last night so if someone can do a quick check that would be nice. Sorry i didnt make an eboot of this either I was going to but pbp unpacker wasnt letting me open up the lua eboot so i just forgot it.

--special thanks to
evilmana for the great tutorials
and to xando for showing me how to make lua eboots.

Be prepared for the next release its coming soon......
